                    HOUSE BILL No. 2963           By Joint Committee on Pensions, Investments and Benefits           2-13             9             AN ACT concerning retirement and pensions; relating to certain retirants
10             under the state school retirement system; providing for postretirement
11             benefit increase.

13       Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
14           Section 1. The retirement benefit, pension or annuity payments ac-
15       cruing after June 30, 1998, to each retirant of the state school retirement
16       system who retired prior to January 1, 1971, and who had at least 25 years
17       or more of service credit, shall be increased by an amount equal to $100.
18           Sec. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
19       publication in the statute book.
