                    HOUSE BILL No. 2957           By Representative Powell           2-13             9             AN ACT designating a portion of interstate highway 135 as the Order of
10             the Purple Heart highway.

12       Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
13           Section 1. Interstate highway 135 where it enters the city of Park
14       City on the north, thence south through the city to the point where it
15       exits the city of Park City on the south, is hereby designated as the Order
16       of the Purple Heart highway. The secretary of transportation shall place
17       signs along the highway right-of-way at proper intervals to indicate that
18       the highway is the Order of the Purple Heart highway. The secretary of
19       transportation may accept and administer gifts and donations to aid in
20       obtaining and installing suitable highway signs.
21           Sec. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
22       publication in the statute book.
