                    HOUSE BILL No. 2872           By Representative Wagle           2-11             9             AN ACT concerning disposition of certain excess moneys in the treasury
10             of Crestview Country Club Improvement District.

12       Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
13           Section 1. (a) The board of directors of Crestview Country Club Im-
14       provement District in Sedgwick county is hereby authorized to disburse
15       all moneys in the district's treasury that are in excess of those necessary
16       to pay the expenses and obligations of the district, including the costs of
17       retiring any outstanding bonded indebtedness of the district, as follows:
18       The total amount of property tax paid to the district on each parcel of
19       real property within the district from the date of inception of the district
20       shall be divided by the total amount of property tax paid to the district
21       on all real property within the district from the date of inception of the
22       district. The resulting percentage shall be multiplied by the total excess
23       moneys to be disbursed and the amount arrived at shall be paid to the
24       owner of record of such parcel.
25           (b) Payments authorized by this section shall be distributed before
26       July 1, 2003.
27           (c) The provisions of this section shall expire on July 1, 2003.
28           Sec. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
29       publication in the statute book.
