 9  AN ACT relating to the university of Kansas; concerning health care ben-
10    efits for certain state employees.

12  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
13    Section 1.  (a) The persons described in subsection (b) shall be eli-
14  gible to receive coverage under the health care benefit program estab-
15  lished by the Kansas state employees health care commission when such
16  persons cease to be eligible for coverage as active state employees. Per-
17  sons made eligible pursuant to this section shall participate under the
18  direct billing provisions of the state health care benefits program.
19    (b)  Persons eligible for coverage pursuant to this section are Janis
20  Bulgren and Genna Ott.
21    Sec. 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
22  publication in the Kansas register.
