 9  AN ACT permitting the state corporation commission to conduct a dem-
10    onstration project and authorize electric load aggregation in certain
11    cases.

13  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
14    Section 1.  (a) The state corporation commission is authorized to per-
15  mit demonstration projects within the certificated electric territory served
16  principally by the Kansas gas and electric company for a period of two
17  years. Such projects are to include all classes of customers (industrial,
18  commercial, small business and residential.)
19    (b)  As a part of such demonstration project, the state corporation
20  commission shall permit electric load aggregation within such service ter-
21  ritory by nonprofit groups such as hospitals and schools.
22    Sec. 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
23  publication in the statute book.
