 9  AN ACT concerning campaign finance; relating to out-of-district contri-
10    butions for local candidates.

12  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
13    Section 1.  Contributions from any individual, person, labor union,
14  candidate or political committee organized and residing outside of a can-
15  didate's district shall not exceed 50% of the total contributions to such
16  candidate for state and local office in this state as defined by K.S.A. 25-
17  4143, and amendments thereto, and such candidate's candidate commit-
18  tee and all party committees and political committees dedicated to such
19  candidate's campaign.
20    Sec. 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
21  publication in the statute book.
