AN ACT concerning trade secrets and confidential commercial infor-
  mation furnished by or obtained from insurance companies to the Kan-
  sas insurance department.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
  Section 1.  Trade secrets, privileged information and confidential
commercial or financial information furnished by or obtained from any
insurance company to the Kansas insurance department shall not be sub-
ject to disclosure by the commissioner or any employee of the insurance
department to persons outside the department except as agreed to by
written consent of the insurance company or as ordered by a court of
competent jurisdiction.
  Sec. 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the statute book.
