 9  AN ACT concerning utilities; prohibiting utilities from making a charge
10    to a customer for the reason of terminating natural gas service.

12  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
13    Section 1.  It is unlawful for a utility to make a charge to one of its
14  customers for the reason that the customer has terminated natural gas
15  service from such utility. As used in this act, utility means a public utility,
16  a municipal utility, an investor-owned utility or any other utility of what-
17  ever description.
18    Sec. 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
19  publication in the statute book.
