 8  AN ACT authorizing the conveyance of certain real property between the
 9    Kansas military board and Mr. and Mrs. Jon Flickinger and authorizing
10    the acceptance and conveyance of real property owned by Mr. and
11    Mrs. Jon Flickinger to the Kansas military board.

13  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
14    Section 1.  (a) The Kansas military board, for and on behalf of the
15  state of Kansas is hereby authorized to exchange and convey the real
16  property described in subsection (b) and improvements thereon to Mr.
17  and Mrs. Jon Flickinger, Salina, Kansas, in consideration for which Mr.
18  and Mrs. Jon Flickinger, Salina, Kansas, are hereby authorized to
19  exchange and convey the real property described in subsection (c) and
20  improvements thereon to the Kansas military board, for and on behalf of
21  the state of Kansas. The exchange and conveyance of real property and
22  improvements thereto by the Kansas military board under this section
23  shall be executed in the name of the state of Kansas and shall be delivered
24  upon receipt of a good and sufficient warranty deed from Mr. and Mrs.
25  Jon Flickinger, Salina, Kansas, to the real property described in subsec-
26  tion (c). Before such real property is exchanged and conveyed, the attor-
27  ney general shall approve the instruments of conveyance of the Kansas
28  military board to Mr. and Mrs. Jon Flickinger, Salina, Kansas, and the
29  instruments of conveyance of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Flickinger, Salina, Kansas,
30  to the Kansas military board and shall approve the title to the real
     property
31  exchanged and conveyed by the Kansas military board and the instru-
32  ments of conveyance of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Flickinger, Salina, Kansas.
33    (b)  In accordance with the provisions of this section, the Kansas mil-
34  itary board is hereby authorized to exchange and convey the following
35  described real property to Mr. and Mrs. Jon Flickinger, Salina, Kan-
36  sas:  Beginning at the SW corner of Block Three (3) in the Northeast
37  Quarter (NE/4) of Section Three (3), Township Fifteen (15) South, Range
38  Three (3) West of the 6th Principal Meridian, thence N0006'24;dpW for a
39  distance 350'-8;dp, thence N8953'36;dpE for a distance of 400'-0, thence
40  S0006'24;dpE for a distance of 350'-8;dp, thence S8953'36;dpW for a distance
41  of 400'-0;dpto P.O.B. within the Schilling Subdivision, Saline County, Kan-
42  sas, and containing 3.22 acres.

 2    -(c)  In accordance with the provisions of this section, the Kansas mil-
 3  itary board is hereby authorized to accept title on behalf of the state of
 4  Kansas to the following described real property conveyed to the state of
 5  Kansas by Mr. and Mrs. Jon Flickinger, Salina, Kansas:  The South Two
 6  Hundred Ninety-Six Feet (296') of the West Four Hundred Seventy-Four
 7  Feet (474') of Block Seven (7) of the Schilling Subdivision to the City of
 8  Salina, Saline County, Kansas, and which contains 3.22 acres more or less.
 9    Sec. 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
10  publication in the Kansas register.
