 9  AN ACT prohibiting disposal of certain yard waste at certain solid waste
10    disposal areas.

12  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
13    Section 1.  (a) As used in this section, ``solid waste disposal area'' has
14  the meaning provided by K.S.A. 65-3402, and amendments thereto.
15    (b)  On and after October 1, 1997, no person shall dispose of leaves,
16  grass clippings, plant prunings or garden wastes in any solid waste disposal
17  area located in Sedgwick county.
18    Sec. 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
19  publication in the statute book.
