 9  AN ACT concerning cities and counties; relating to law enforcement of-
10    ficers and sheriffs.

12  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
13    Section 1.  The chief law enforcement officer of each city may adopt
14  and implement annual physical fitness requirements and testing as a con-
15  dition of employment as a law enforcement officer by such city.
16    Sec. 2.  The sheriff of each county may adopt and implement annual
17  physical fitness requirements and testing as a condition of employment
18  as a deputy or assistant deputy sheriff of such county.
19    Sec. 3.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
20  publication in the statute book.
